Carl Staines
IT Consultant
Carl joined British Ropes from school as a trainee Management Accountant. He quickly moved into IT and over the next 10 years had various positions including Programmer, Systems Programmer and PC manager. Carl then joined Deans Foods as a Senior Infrastructure Engineer and spent another 10 years honing his skills in a multi-site, multi-platform environment. Carl joined Allotts in 2006 as IT Manager where he looks after all aspects of Allotts internal IT. If Carl hadn’t worked in IT he would have loved to be involved in the music industry, ideally a lead guitarist.
Pat Cundey
Payroll Manager
Pat was educated at Sheffield City Grammar School and Sheffield Business College. She has been administering payrolls of all sizes for 37 years. Before joining Allotts Pat headed up a small team processing a payroll for over 1700 staff. Thanks to her many years of experience, Pat has a wide knowledge of all aspects of payroll and enjoys her job. She runs the payrolls for clients of all sizes from a single employee to over one hundred employees and is happy to tailor the payroll package to suit the needs of the individual client. As a young girl Pat always wanted to be in the police force.
Robert Watson – MPhil Cert.Ed, C.Dip.A.F.
HR Manager
Robert is a professionally qualified HR Development specialist with extensive experience in training and development and human resource consultancy. He has delivered both standard training events and consultancy services at all organisational levels across the HR, management and organisational spectrum. He is an expert in Performance Management, with experience in the design and implementation of systems at an organisational level. His experience has been gained over a number of years working at Ranmoor Hall, a management development centre in Sheffield where he was a key player in the research and development of learning solutions for the DfES. Robert was the HR and Development Manager for STL, a large independent work-based learning provider based in Sheffield, and was then a self-employed Organisation and Management Development Consultant before joining Allotts in June 2006. As a student Robert wanted to be a Marine Biologist, his only problem being he couldn’t dive!
