Allotts Chartered Accountants are pleased to announce three new appointments to strengthen their tax and financial services teams and further build on their presence in the local business community.

Maurice Willis has joined as Director of VAT services to head up the VAT function. Maurice has previously worked with Mazaars Neville Russell and PKF. He has over 25 years experience of UK and international indirect taxation. He will be advising a range of clients on VAT planning and mitigation ranging from charities and financial institutions and exporters to growing businesses.

Maurice will be working from both the Doncaster and Rotherham offices of Allotts and offering his services to organisations throughout South Yorkshire and beyond. This adds to the existing specialist services already provided by Steven Watson and Kirstie Williamson in the form of corporate and personal and capital tax planning.

Peter Armitage has joined Allotts as an independent financial adviser. He has previously worked for Lloyds TSB and AWD, an international firm of financial advisers. Peter provides bespoke investment, financial planning, pension and mortgage solutions to private clients, corporate clients and their professional advisers.

Peter joins our existing IFAs, Tom Shenton and Sharon Lound, in working from the Rotherham office of Allotts but is available to visit clients throughout the region.

Gary Hayward has joined Allotts financial services team as a Mortgage Adviser. Gary has been working with Allotts as an independent partner for a number of years and his services will now be available in house to all clients.
